Have you ever seen the sun rise or set over Texas? There is nothing like sitting in a stand as the world awakens around you. Whitetail deer, aoudad rams, scimitar oryx and the occasional zebra are just some of the animals you'll cross paths with at the legendary El Papalote Ranch.

Adventure Awaits: Hunters and non-hunters alike can make their own experience here. From bass fishing in our lakes to shooting practice on our rifle range to hunting hogs at night there is always something to do! Photo Safaris are always a favorite for our guests.
Food: We take great pride in what our ranch and Texas has to offer. We offer first class menus throughout the day with homemade biscuits and antelope sausage to roasted wild boar and steak dinners, all with an emphasis on Texas made and grown ingredients. We live to hunt and we hunt to eat so most of our meals have proteins taken directly from our ranch and prepared by our amazing chefs!
An Amazing History
Our luxury lodge is made from 120 year old reclaimed timbers and stone pulled from the very grounds you will be hunting on. The lodge consists of two primary wings and a central meeting area that has the kitchen, the living area, the pool room and a poker area, all with expansive windows so you can enjoy the views!
