Is there anything more iconic than a trophy whitetail deer?  Wide frame, multi-tined, thick necked monster bucks are the goal of our deer program here at the El Papalote Ranch.  Years of cultivating our genetics has brought us some of the  most outstanding bucks around with many natural 200"+ deer roaming the ranch each season.  With several distinctive genetic traits from high basket racks, to wide set beams with split brows to giant 10s, each stand during our South Texas deer season can bring in something new and amazing.  

We limit the number of bucks we take each season to make sure that our deer herd continues to thrive and produce these monster bucks.  However, if you aren't one of the lucky few coming to the ranch for one of these giants, there are always opportunities to hunt management bucks and doe hunts and we can create special packages for your specific wants and desires.  Whether it is just the experience of a hunt you are looking for or to give a son or daughter their first buck or just to fill the freezer with some of the best venison you will ever taste, we can cater to your needs and wants for whitetail hunting here at the El Papalote Ranch.

Below are our current Whitetail Deer packages with the season which runs from October 1st to February 29th:

TROPHY WHITETAIL HUNT:  190"+ STARTING AT $11,500 (SOLD OUT FOR 23/24 SEASON)

$5,500 ALL INCLUSIVE MANAGEMENT WHITETAIL DEER HUNT PACKAGES INCLUDE:

· Trophy fee for 1 whitetail management buck (guides choice, up to 150")

· 1 whitetail doe (time allowing after buck is taken) 

· 100% Opportunity Guaranteed

· Method of take: rifle or bow

· 3 days, 2 nights hunt with lodging for 1 hunter in a private master suite with private bathroom.  

· Arrival after 1pm on Day 1. Departure before 11am on Day 3.

· Meals - breakfast, lunch, dinner.

· Beer, liquor and wine

· Professional guiding (Gratuity not included, please tip your guide if they did a good job).

· Field transportation in climate controlled vehicles

· Field dressing.

· Daily rate included in package.

· Use of ranch facilities: Pool, Skeet range (guns available for rent), Shooting range with targets, Quiet Kat Bikes, Bass fishing, etc.

· Unlimited hogs and varmints.

$9,500 ALL INCLUSIVE FATHER SON/DAUGHTER HUNT PACKAGES INCLUDE:

· Trophy fees for 2 whitetail management bucks (guides choice, up to 150")

· 100% Opportunity Guaranteed

· Method of take: rifle or bow

· 3 days, 2 nights hunt with lodging for 2 hunters in a double occupancy room (can be upgraded to master suites if available)  

· Arrival after 1pm on Day 1. Departure before 11am on Day 3.

· Meals - breakfast, lunch, dinner.

· Beer, liquor and wine

· Professional guiding (Gratuity not included, please tip your guide if they did a good job).

· Field transportation in climate controlled vehicles

· Field dressing.

· Daily rate included in package.

*One hunter must be 17 or younger at the time of this hunt.

HUNT PACKAGE OPTIONS NOT INCLUDED:

· Texas hunting license. Can be purchased online or over the counter in TX.  We can assist upon arrival at the ranch.

· Airport Transfers from Uvalde, TX - $250/round trip. Rent vehicle if flying into San Antonio, TX.

· Additional animals harvested during trip, fees apply per animal at listed prices.

· Gun Rental options available.

· Extra hunt days/Nights at the Lodge $450/Day per person.

· Observers are welcome during the hunt at $450/Day per person.

· 50% of Hunt Due to Reserve Dates.  Remaining 50% Due 1 week prior to arrival.

· Gratuity is not included, but greatly appreciated. Example: Industry standard is 10%-20% of hunt price, but at hunters discretion. 

· Transportation of trophy to local taxidermist: no cost for transportation (hunter is responsible for taxidermy fees, this is for transportation only)

· Transportation to local meat processor: no cost for transportation (meat processor menu will be available on site, hunter is responsible for meat processor and shipping fees. Meat processor can vacuum seal and ship to hunters home address if in USA).
