Try not to startle the Impala because they were born to outrun cheetahs! These amazing antelopes can run at speeds over 35 miles an hour and jump further than 30ft in a single bound. Here at El Papalote Ranch, it isn’t uncommon to find one of the Impala herds in the open field next to our largest lake, but you will just as likely see them moving through the brush or crossing a road throughout our 3,250 acres.
