Gemsbok are one of the most sought after animals of any African adventure, but you don’t have to go to Africa to get your own. With a climate similar to their native lands, Texas is a perfect home for these amazing antelope. Both the males and the females are huntable at El Papalote Ranch, with the males having thicker horns and the females having skinnier but sometimes longer horns. A delicious animal that can weigh well over 600lbs means there should be plenty of meat on the table when you take on this trophy hunt! Just like their cousins, the Scimitar, we have a large herd that frequently roams together, however, scattered throughout the ranch are lone bulls that are a true trophy!
Gemsbok can be hunted year round at El Papalote Ranch.
