Fallow Deer set themselves apart from whitetail and axis deer by having large palmated antlers that grow back every year. The Fallow Deer on the ranch can be one of three unique and recognized colorations, from the Chocolate to the Spotted to the White Fallow, we have them all roaming the ranch. Coveted by many hunters is a set of Fallow antlers still in velvet, these hunts typically take place in July to September.
Fallow Deer can be hunted year round at El Papalote Ranch, but prime months are July through February.
