The Barasingha Deer are another one of the impressive deer species on El Papalote Ranch. The Stags (male) and the Hinds (female) can often be found near water, they are even referred to as “swamp deer” due their affinity for water. Although there are no hunting seasons for Barasingha deer, the prime hunting season runs Sept – Dec.
Barasingha deer can be hunted year round at El Papalote Ranch.
